Is this double-entry accounting?
Yes. Accounting is a proper company ledger with journals and moves, not a cashbook toy.
Can we keep our accountant on Xero?
Some groups do, for a holding company. The operating company ledger can still live in Dextersoft when operational apps require it.
What about audit trail?
Journals and moves are kept in the company workspace with role-based access so finance is not sharing a single Pastel login.
